Yes, Malaysian Government portal was attacked yesterday. Well, you should read this too. The blogger is a dear friend of mine and I would say her post title should have explained everything. Well, you are smart, but you are still dumb in doing things.
Okay, let's face it, we already know that most young people of Malaysians are not in favour of the current federal government, but hacking government websites is not something 'smart' to be done.
Even though I don't really support the idea of rallying (since I don't see any significance except when Martin Luther King and the Malays protesting the Malayan Union last time), the marching of people to prove a point is is 'smarter' than hacking government websites. You don't have to do that if you are not satisfied with it.
We have systems in place- voting, media, blogging, even micro-blogging Twitter to prove your point. Yes, like the government will reverse its policy if you hack them! No, they won't! -The Chukai Insider
