Less Serious This Time

Faidhi got Lawyer.
You love to prove your point. It drives you crazy when people try to say you are wrong, even though sometimes you may be. But this would come in great handy in your career. You are great at arguing and you can easily manipulate others into thinking they are wrong, even if they aren't. You love to stand up for what you believe in and your morals and opinions are rarely ever challenged. You are organized, in life and in your mind. You are a people person, but sometimes people don't find you very nice.

Okay, here's something different today. I tried this quiz today and with the time that I have, I could answer the quiz carefully so not to make mistakes like I did in Paper 1 Physics, I guess! So, it turned out that being a lawyer is the right career for me according to the quiz which is based on no research at all. I don't care the lawyer thing but I am more interested with the description.

1.You love to prove your point. It drives you crazy when people try to say you are wrong, even though sometimes you may be.
Okay, mister! Whether my friends know about this or not, I think the statement is true. I always want to prove my point. Even my mother even said 'mu ni kalu cakap betul mu sokmo, malas aku cakap ngan mu!'. Hahaha. Even among my friends, I realize that I always want to be the right one. Chukai friends are super duper good, so I guess they get used to it already. It does drive me crazy when my point is said wrong. But I do accept comment easily. When you can convince me, I'm fine. Hahaha. People, when you say my point is wrong, try looks at my eyes and ears. My eyes will be a little bit slanted showing blurriness. My eyes will say this to you " eee, geramnya aku dia ni, dohlah dok paham aku cakap mende, ngok ngeknya point dia". If you look at my ears, they will turn pinkish. I always feel like a smoke coming out of my ears when that happens. I may stay silent and say 'yeah' and stop talking. That's when I think you just can't accept things that I say anymore and it would be stupid for me to continue. Sometimes, I may be wrong, but prove it to me. Yeah, I'm stubborn, what do you care? I think for now, only two persons that can really really change my opinions on certain thing and make me to agree with them. They are both girls and both are doing the same course. Guess who you are. So, the Facebook Quiz scores 1 point!

2.You are great at arguing and you can easily manipulate others into thinking they are wrong, even if they aren't.
I'm not great in arguing, duhh. Although some may think that I am (poyo-ness at work, gentleman!), it is just you have not met someone greater than me at arguing things. Manipulative? Yes, I am. But I'm not manipulative in the wrong way, if you know what I mean. It's like I can twist your sentence a little bit and then, bang! It's not like I'm right or something but it's like a skill. I even use this during my debate years in school. When the Government side asked me to give proofs and details about what I said, I manipulated her own points. I laughed my ass off after the competition! Seriously, ask Chen Kim Soong and Syaza about this. Debating surely develop all of the skills that I have today. That's why in my previous post, I made a point by saying that if all of the national debaters get together, they will make most of our Ministers look stupid. They will surely win the debate. Seriously, our students are great in debating.

3.You love to stand up for what you believe in and your morals and opinions are rarely ever challenged.
This blog speaks for itself. I really stand up for what I believe in. Morals and opinions are rarely ever challenged? Nup, that is not right. Having many very intelligent people surrounding me, my opinions are always being challenged. But I really enjoyed it. I missed my time with Azrul, one of my seniors in KTJ. See, I'm a little bit conservative, but he managed to make me view communism from a different perspective. I  had so many great debates when I was in KTJ. To the 'anonymous' (you know who you are!) who's reading this, you are not included because you are just plain stupid. You are not in the intelligence cycle.

4.You are organized, in life and in your mind.
In life, I am organized! That's because my mom is! When I was in KTJ, I knew I took for granted the ironed school shirt that I wore in Sultan Ismail II. At first, I was thinking of not ironing my shirt like most KTJ-ians do (yeah, it's not disciplinary wrong!), but then I knew I couldn't stand wearing not-ironed school uniform. Then, I learnt how to iron my shirt at the age of 18! Like a kid learning how to ride a bike! Qama, my senior taught me how to iron my school uniforms. At first, I took 30 minutes to complete the shirt only! Argh! Am I organized then? If my mom is there, I'll be! Dia sangat bekeng (Trengganuites je faham kot)!

5.You are a people person, but sometimes people don't find you very nice.
This is so true! People person? I have emotions to people who are unrelated to me, like CJ7, the beggars on streets, Bangladeshis who work in pump stations, mak cik cleaner kat KTJ, Simba when he lost his father and an auntie in Sultan Ismaill II area. I still remember that auntie; she has a daughter in Sultan Ismail Primary and she brings her to school on her bicycle everyday. I still remember her till today and where she lives but I never speak or smile to her. She doesn't know that I know her. But to people around me? I tend to get annoying and gedix and nasty! Hahaha! I always lost a sense of humane with them. I think that's why some people may find me not a very nice person. That's why I love my Kemaman friends so much, because I think they still love me! (No? Janganla macam tu, I nak kawan ngan sape? I dah break up dengan dia ni!). I love Kemaman friends. No substitutions for them. And that's why I'm a people person but tend to get nasty to people who are close to me.

Zahid Hamidi, you are screwed! - The Chukai Insider

Maybe for those of you who did not read Malaysian newspapers recently, our Defence Minister, Datuk Zahid Hamidi recently blew a typhoon when replying to an answer in Parliament. He said that the reason for the lack of non-Malays in civil forces is due to the lack of patriotism among them. (Source: The Star Online Nov 9, 2010). I was wondering what your motives or goals in making such remark. I will discuss this not on race-based reasons, but how you have screwed your opportunity to become one charismatic leader that can be respected by every segment in the community. Or maybe, it's because you just did not think at all before making the statement. Many ministers do that, no doubt.

However, for a Minister to produce such answer in the Parliament shows how lack of intellectual capacity that most ministers have. You are degrading the respect that many have shown towards the current Cabinet Ministers. First, the accuracy of your reason is highly doubted. Were there any scholar research done by universities taken into account? Were there any data that support your statement? I believe there is none.

I do agree that many non-Malays are not attracted to join army forces. Many Malays are not attracted either. But to question their patriotism is just stupid. Here are the reasons: 1. While Najib has made his maiden speech in UMNO Assembly before that he acknowledge and value the loyalty of the non-Malays in the country, you are doing the opposite thing. Second: Why, according to your views that the non-Malays lack patriotism? If you have solid answers which are not rhetorical, then I will agree with you. But never mind, you would not come up with one.

It is a very serious accusation I would say. If somebody said that to me, I would become so emotional in defending myself. Why would you do that is still a mysterious thing to me. Is being in army forces the most patriotic thing to do? Is it the Nirvana of being patriotic to the country? Poor me, a Malay who can't reach it just because I don't have the physique that you want to show my love to the country!

A question to be answered for you; what are the reasons that the Malays join the army forces? Then, compare their answers with the answers given by the non-Malays who don't want to join military.

No, it is not right at all for you to say that. You are such a minister that makes us to look down on the Government's effort. If it is based on hard facts, no one can argue with that. Obviously, you did not think through when making the statement. What was your intention in doing so, only God knows. By doing so, you don't make the army forces to become more attractive to the non-Malays, you are just chasing them away.

Sorry Datuk Zahid Hamidi, you are just screwed.-The Chukai Insider

Greens are being destroyed by the Pale Blues- The Chukai Insider

It's politics. Do You know who are Greens and who are Pale Blues? I guess you do. Beware of the Blues, it's not Dark Blues, people! I like Dark Blues. I love both Dark Blues and Greens. But when the Greens want to cooperate with the Pale Blues, it was one of the worst political strategy ever. Why? Mind you that the Pale Blues are very close the Whitey Rockets. Pale Blues need Whitey Rockets to win! However, the Greens and Whitey Rockets always contradict in their ideologies. With regards to the previous post, I'm very sad when the Reds (child of the Dark Blues) cannot work together with the Greens. If they do work together, I think the Whitey Rockets will be scared. When Greens and Reds are together on a stance, no one can ever stop them. When they are together, it's always the Dark Blues that will get benefit from it. If Greens and Reds are united, Withey Rockets will blast off from any political ploy and drama in Malaysia.

That's why, when the Pale Blues become the glue that stick the Green Moons and White Rockets together, it's destroying the Greens. Greens, you can stand on your own. You are jeopardizing your own principles by letting the White Rockets rape you. We know this happens all the time. Even if you don't want to be good with the Reds, don't let the White Rockets belittle you. The Pale Blues don't do anything. Personally, if you do win in the next round of election, I want your Green Leader to become the PM, not the Pale Blues or the udang-di-sebalik-batu White Rockets.

To Greens, please be nice and kind to the Reds and the Dark Blues. Think wisely before being friend with the Pale Blues. -The Chukai Insider

After 21 Years of Waiting, Let Me Give You Some Insights

Come January, I'll be 21 years old. Waiting to be a 21 year-old is a lot more fun compared to when I was waiting to smoke legally permissible at the age of 18 ( Do I smoke? Yeah, it's just I'm allergic to the wrapping paper, so I'm still a cigarette-virgin.)

I read an article in NST today saying that a columnist came across a girl that doesn't know her rights to vote when she turns 21. I guess the columnist met a wrong person. For me, I can't wait to register for an election voter! Wooh!

By now, it should be clear that I'm not a fan of a political party. I do not look highly upon one de facto leader of a political party to be the future Prime Minister of Malaysia. I never say the party that I will vote is perfect and the best! After 21 years, 9 months and 10 days of analysis, I think I know strongly which one I'll be voting. For Parliamentary seat, one candidate has confirmed his place inside my head. For the Sate seat, I think I'm not a fan of the current Mentri Besar. Should I not vote his party's candidate in my constituent as a sign that I don't want him as a Mentri Besar?

Okay, let's go back to Parliamentary seat of my constituent. Voting for this seat means you are voting for the national level Government; the Federal Government or Kerajaan Pusat. I already lose major confidence in one political party to form a stable government that can attract investments (Yes, I care about money! Who doesn't?). Here are the reasons to not support the moons and rocket:

1. Where is the single-focused goal for Malaysians?
The coalition of this party consists of one party that put Islamic nation as an ideology (it's slogan is Membangun Bersama Islam). The other one firmly stand on a secular country. Another party is like a glue holding the both parties together. They are in chaos by the way. Let's say they succeeded in their process to conquer Putrajaya (one party wanted to sell Putrajaya in 1999 you know? Now, they want it! Ouch!), what will happen to Malaysia? Of course by that time, Trengganu, Kelantan, Kedah and Perlis will be ruled by one Islamic party (no doubt if the greens are strong), and most west-coast states will be ruled by the other two parties. Note that one party wants a secular Malaysia that do not put Islam as the official religion. Do you know which country is a secular country now? Turkey. Then, what will happen? The Trengganuites have to follow hudud law while my friends in Johore will not get their hands cut if they steal? Wow, what a simple difference ideology can lead to something like that?

2.Both parties corrupt
His party (it's like a one-man party) claims the current Government practices corruption, crony-ism, racist and maybe political dynasty. Let me throw your own shit to your face. Shit no.1: Corruption? Do you really want to use this point? You party election says everything. Shit no.2: Crony-ism? Who's your pet brother to become the Vice President of your party? I heard one of the candidates already pulled out from the contest saying you are biased towards him. Oh my God! What will he get if you become the PM? Warisan Merdeka? Ouch! Shit no.3: Racist: I thought you were in the racist party before? Did the jail officer tell you to change your view about your last political party? Shit no.4: Political dynasty; ye la anak Mahathir dalam kabinet, anak Chua Soi Lek, anak menantu Pak Lah etc. la. Helloooo!!!! I thought it's your daughter who wants to run for Vice President position? Or is it your wife who is the current President? Looks like somebody got his family in power! Okay, enough shits. We move on. Ni tak termasuk gandingan ayah anak dalam parti roket negara. Ada 2 pasangan pulak tu.

Some segment in societies may say that it's the Government's responsibilities to provide developments and infrastructures. That means my supported party cannot use this reason to win elections. I totally agree with that. However, when I see the Opposition rules in 4 states, no economic integration between them. It's like one-third of a country already and you still can't make something mega to happen. We need more wows and not just keep blaming others being your only source to get more supports. When this happen, you blame the Federal government for not providing support. It's not just me, even Sin Chew Daily thinks the same when it publishes an article about the inability of the states to be economically resourceful. Why can't you stand on your own? Why keep blaming others? Which political theory that you use? It's not just the gambling-money issues in Penang which is very sensitive to the Malay community, but for the Kedah Mentri Besar to ban NST, Utusan and some other newspapers is just stupid. You say you are fighting for press freedom. Where is the KeAdilan Rakyat? No, seriously it seems like your party is just like a party! Good governance needs visions and inspirations. Cakap memang senang, tapi bila dah memerintah, kacau bilau.

I choose party which has lesser problems and is the best platform for country's development holistically. Both parties corrupt. Both parties do not meet my expectations. Both parties are not perfect. One party is a very one-manship party. Machiavellian is very obvious in that party. For that party to win, the future PM will be a puppet. The party can't stand on its own if the coalition breaks. While the other so-called Malay party that I support can win on itself even without the coalition. Check the parliamentary seats. That means, how thoughtful for my party is to cooperate with other parties. That shows unity. My friends, choose the lesser of the two evils that you think. Don't jeopardize Malaysia's future. Go register when you turn 21. I just give you some insights. -The Chukai Insider

My New Girlfriends- Faidhi Yusoff

When I woke up from bed one morning, I was so happy to know that one of my girlfriends will come to my house. I e-mailed my girlfriend's caretaker, and he said I'll be getting her the next day. I was so happy and excited. Then, around 9 o'clock after my usual Nescafe with The Star, I received a phone call from an auntie. She said she doesn't know where my home is to come and send my girlfriend. So, I decided to go to her place by myself and get my girlfriend from her.

I drove my Persona to Taman Chukai Utama where I'll be picking up my new girlfriend. Parking. I went straight to the auntie's place and tell my name. I saw her.

She was wrapped beautifully in a big brown box. I move the box a little bit and found her to be very light. I was so thrilled. Then, I went home. I did not talk to her on my way home, although there were lots of jelingan manja from me. But I did not do it as obvious as others could see my jelingan. I thought they will think I was crazy.

At home, I opened the box. She was there waiting for me to pick her up. Her name is 'My Name Is Red'. She brought her brother and sister as well. The boy's name is 'Slap' and the girl's name is ' Museum of Innocence'. I think her sister did lots of nasty things. After spending many times with her, I know she's dirty. However, when I spend my time with My Name Is Red, I know she's a very good girl. She came from the Ottoman Empire. That's why I really want to go to Turkey now. I haven't spent time with Slap yet. He's from Australia.

A few days after that, Ain was in Kemaman. She brought me another girlfriend. She's like a sugar-mommy. She brought me two girlfriends; Orchid and ...Element. They are so beautiful. Especially Orchid. I call her Empress Orchid. She was married to the second last Emperor of the last China dynasty. She's a Manchurian. They are very cheap too (cheap!). But when I know them better, they are so beautiful and does not deserve to be at the place where they came from.

Do you want to see my girlfriends? -The Chukai Insider

Sahih International
The example of [this] worldly life is but like rain which We have sent down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb - [those] from which men and livestock eat - until, when the earth has taken on its adornment and is beautified and its people suppose that they have capability over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, and We make it as a harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus do We explain in detail the signs for a people who give thought.
Muhsin Khan
Verily the likeness of (this) worldly life is as the water (rain) which We send down from the sky, so by it arises the intermingled produce of the earth of which men and cattle eat until when the earth is clad with its adornments and is beautified, and its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it, Our Command reaches it by night or by day and We make it like a clean-mown harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday! Thus do We explain the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, laws, etc.) in detail for the people who reflect.
the point is, everything you work for your life in this world means nothing in the end. it's like planting crops in the ground, seeing them grow, and never being able to reap what you sow. the true and totally emo fact is that to live is to die.  so we should start working for stuff that matter. shouldn't we?
